Cheryl Turner, M.Ed.Psych, RPC
I believe everyone is capable of change, and that seemingly small shifts and changes
can lead to greatly improved life satisfaction and fulfilment. When supported and
empowered to reach one’s goals, great changes can happen over a short period of
time. I work with individuals to relieve emotional distress, to improve well-being, and to
help facilitate positive life changes. Overall, I aim to provide a warm, empathic,
respectful and supportive therapeutic environment.
I provide individual therapy to adults and children. My treatment specialties are trauma
and anxiety, phobias and depression. I use health psychology to treat the behavioural
issues associated with insomnia, stress management, depression and anxiety. I
integrate components of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Expressive Arts therapy and coaching
(EXA), Hypnosis and lifestyle change.
